Hi Pug,

In this situation I suggest you act as if you had not submitted an ESA50 at all and follow the advice in this link

Invited to a face to face assessment but no ESA50 sent

I know that we have had a similar question to your about proof of identity recently, I will see if I can find it for you.

The ESA guide explains what to expect at the face2face assessment.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your wife's ESA without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in topic as it makes things easier for us - and I hope you find it useful too :)

EDIT - can't find the topic about ID. It will be quicker for me to answer you than trawl through the forum!

Does your wife have an expired passport? If so, that can be used as long as the photograph still looks like your wife. Otherwise I suggest you contact Maximus and ask them what they will accept.

hope your wife can sort out her claim and she gets to add on the other problems she has since developed.

Phone the Assessment Provider for advice on what they will accept.

will do gordon

update; after contacting wca provider was told they intended to do a paper assessment but our gp had not returned relvant paperwork to confirm info in the forms. provider will now issue another form for gp.

gp denies having received form and said they only send them out after wca has taken place. is this correct?

gp refused to print out list of illnesses i intended to include in a letter of updated information.

thanks pug
