Commons debate ? was created by B x
I hope it's OK to start a new thread as what I am asking it is not directly connected to my PIP application thread which is ongoing.
I read with interest your mail out to members this morning concerning Penny Mordaunt's recent comments concerning PIP and Motability and it got me wondering if there was or had ever been an on line petition to pressurize the Government to re-think their current strategy on the whole PIP issue. Certainly I am unable to find anything on a Google search and thought you may be better placed to know the answer.
I appreciate such things take time and dedication to achieve the goal, but as something of a protagonist when it comes to peoples rights and having been involved in political circles before MS got the better of me, I feel sure with the support of organisations such as the MS Society, Mind and so, there are more than enough unhappy individuals who would put their name to such a campaign in order to obtain the 100,000 signatures to achieve a Commons Debate.
If you feel this post is inappropriate and prefer not to put in on the Forum I will of course understand.

I've allowed you post but will lock it to prevent discussion.
There have been several petitions. I'm not sure that any of them have met the required number of signatures, but even if they did a debate in the House is actually of little value, witness the recent unanimous vote (at least of those MPs who bothered to turn up) to cancel the removal of the WRAG component for new claimants placed in the WRAG from April of next year.
