I 'm an ex-DWP officer and I used to be offered bonuses for declaring disabled clients fit for work'
Very interesting and disturbing watch
Playing Devil's advocate I would take this with a pinch of salt, perhaps a large one. She talks about being Fit for Work which is clearly in regard to ESA and not PIP and I don't think that not getting a performance related pay rise is anywhere near the same as being "offered a bonus for declaring clients fit for work".

All talk of unfairness to vulnerable people, targets etc , there are too many for me to doubt. The system is all about getting people off PIP. ESA etc.............its appalling. It really doesn't surprise me, sickens me, but not surprises me.
I'm not suggesting that there are not serious problems with the assessment processes for both PIP and ESA, not least a lack of due diligence by the Assessment Providers and the DWP, but they are also not as bad as many would suggest.
As a personal comment, the disabled are far to often defeated in highlighting these issue, by their own failure to properly check the facts.
