Just called ATOS, to confirm they had received my neurologists support letter.............answer, no, she put me through to DWP to check why it hadn't been logged.......................waste of time! have to ring back tuesday. Being honest, it was the manner and attitude of the DWP person I spoke to which got me so cross! she spoke to me as if I was a sub class of human being! How bloody dare they speak to people like that! it is not what they say, its the way the message is delivered. There is absolutely no customer service skills or desire to help whatsoever. While I appreciate the difficulty of working in a call centre (i used to, then managed one) but, for goodness sake, its hard enough for people to actually claim benefits, its demeaning, soul destroying, feeling stripped of any self respect, she knows nothing about me, yet she judged me ............ vulnerable people, feel bad enough without the added insult of a mealy mouthed, arrogant, little s&&& talking down to us!!!!!!! For a strong minded, proud, people person, I am beyond angry, it is totally unacceptable. Its not as if its the odd one..............its the culture, its a thread that runs through the whole establishment from the very top (government) down. What did gandhi say?.............“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” add, 'its people' with its animals!
Sorry for the rant...............just so, so cross!
Apologies for the rant

Just watched a video with a former ATOS health professional. The most interesting and shocking thing she said was, they had weekly targets to meet, so, if you had your medical on a monday you are more than likely have a favourable award, if you had your medical from Tuesday on wards, your chances of being awarded were very slim!...............I might as well give up now, mine is on a Thursday!
