AA low rate through the day -care implications

I have been awarded low rate AA because " You need attention with body functions several times at short intervals right through the day" .I have no problem with low rate Award But I expected it for the night time supervision need I have nocturnal seizures though with moderate anxiety / concentration issues underlying.
GP letter says need help re supervised sleeping and Consultant letter diagnosed "nocturnal seizures " (put no restriction on driving therefore) . In the AA questions re night time I stated I am helped 2 to 3 times at night once at going in sleep then at mid night for most nights for about 30 minutes and at 6 am wake up time . It would qualify for a low rate for night time care .
As for the day questions I mentioned some problems like arthritis in feet hurts walking short distances I need care twice a day e.g. re appearance , dressing neatly - concentration issues and being reminded re taking medication on time and sometimes have nap during the day time. I was not sure it was significant issue during the day time yet stated as I felt was a factual position , anyway.
I need help please to understand how does a day time low rate Award affect my capacity to give care , e.g. could it conflict with my partner's PIP claim assessment ?
and I love to volunteer ?

Is this care in regard a claim for Carers Allowance or just general care that is given?

I cannot see any reason why your receiving AA will not have any effect on your partner's PIP claim.

Providing your volunteering does not conflict with the limitations, either those that you appear to have been awarded for or those that you expected to be awarded for, then it should not be an issue. You don't need to tell the DWP that you volunteer.

Thank you Gordon , no one receives or would claim a Carer Allowance .

Sorry to bother you again. I am not very clear about the PIP correlation / impact .
I hope there is none .

I wonder perhaps there is only one standard wording for a low rate Award , or there are different wordings for a day time needs Award and a night time needs Award at low rate .

As I said, I can't see any reason why your providing care to your partner would impact on their PIP, if they have a Daily Living award then it is because the DWP believe they have problems with their daily activities.

The DM will almost certainly copy/pasted text to create the Decision Letter, so it may simply be an oversight as to when the care is needed. It could also be that they are happier with your needs during the day rather than the night.

AA has two levels of award, the Medium rate is for care needs during the day or night and the Higher rate is for care during the day and night.
