Even more confusion PIP assessment result and SDP was created by johnnyblackjack
 Hi can anyone give me a clue as to what is going on i went for a PIP assessment 22nd of November still not had any notification as to any award or no award. However yesterday i received a letter from ESA telling me i may be able to claim extra money with a severe disability premium honestly i fail to understand what is happening. There was a short form to fill in asking did i live alone and did anyone get carer's allowance for me, i live alone and no one gets carers allowance for me as my DLA award was for HRM +LRC on the letter it says people on standard or enhanced daily living could get SDP i am in the support group CB ESA. Could it be possible that i have been awarded PIP but not yet been informed and ESA have, i find it all very confusing i don't like phoning them because i just go to pieces as i have acute anxiety and depression. As anyone on here experienced similar.

It is possible, it can take 10 days for a Decision Letter to be printed and sent out to the claimant. whereas other departments such as ESA will be notified electronically.

You can either wait for the PIP letter or phone to see what is going on.

Hi everyone
just after i posted this the postman came and nervously i looked in the hallway and saw the brown envelope i opened it with trembling hands fearing the worst. How surprised i was to find i have been awarded enhanced rates for both components until 2020. previously i was on low rate care and high rate mobility. I would like to say one hell of a big thank you to all here the advice i have obtained off this site as been invaluable i could not fill in the form myself and sought help but i made notes of all the guidance and advice i obtained here and took them to the people who filled the form in for me and relayed it to them. For the last three months i have had sleepless nights and a definite deterioration in both my mental and physical health owing to this horrendous experience i hope now to put it behind me for a while catch my breath and re engage with my treatment. Once again a big sincere thanks to all.
