Hello again
Sorry if I am tend to ask obvious questions but I am struggling to help my son complete this seemingly never ending and complex questions. As my son is severely depressed and wouldnt do anything unless constantly prompted and encouraged mean that If i can get this point over, mean he would hopefully scare 4 points in this particular section. As he can otherwise eat normally physically other than lack of appetite but requires prompting to be able to Finnish and start meals. He does not always want to eat anything.and if left would simply go hungry. thank you

Do you mean question 4D? The comments area for Eating and Drinking?

Very few people will not eat when hungry although they may not eat appropriately! Can your son prepare and cook a meal?

Your answers to this activity will be looked at with those for Washing and Bathing and Dressing and Undressing, so if appropriate your answers to all three activities must be consistent.

Rightly or wrongly they will look at his weight, if he is not under weight then they will doubt your responses, so if this is the case then you need to explain why.

OK, so are you available for all of his meals to provide prompting? What happens when you are not available? Can you document occasions when he did not eat? How long did he go without food? Is his GP or other doctor aware of the problem and is it mentioned in any evidence that you have?

Follow the "formula" in the guide and make use of "reliably" and "on the majority of days" where applicable.
