Hi, My father in law is writing a letter as evidence about his son [my husband] now should I Photocopy the original and send it with the PIP claim or send the original ? also should I type up [using Microsoft word] and also send them a typed up version along with original/photocopy just in case they cant read the handwriting ? thank you so much.

As this letter has been produced solely for the assessment, it is probably one time when I suggest sending in the original - but make sure you keep a copy for your own records.

You can send in a transcript if you think that the original might be difficult to read - and if you have the time/energy to do so!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
