Thanks. I had the same thought. However, does scheduling one mean he will get a F2F?
I am really hoping that the form requesting further medical evidence will be enough to make a paper decision.

Thanks

It could be that a face2face has been decided on before the claim has been fully assessed. However, I think you should mentally plan for one.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

If you have received an appointment then that means a face to face assessment, however, they can change their minds.

No date had been given for F2F.

Only been told that they have written to GP for more info,

I am really surprised as I have sent the additional sheets with PIP2 form using your excellent guides and recent reports from consultants more or less confirming everything that was stated in the PIP2.

And an old DLA report from a f2f clearly stating that husbands disabilities are permenant, since that report his condition has got worse and has got more delibiating ailments.

I'm afraid you can only wait and see.

Hi,

Atos has written to GP for further info, which he is in the process of supplying.
However, this morning received a letter for a home visit on 27th of feb.

Whilst we are disappointed that husband will have to endure a F2F, I am more angry that Atos has not waited for the GPs reply to further medical evidence.

Can I call them and ask them to wait for this before coming for a F2F, as the assessor may not have that info in time for visit and I think it's a bit unfair.

Regards
