For GP factual report how old can evidence be?

My husbands disabilities go back to 1998. In the early years, OT and other specialists confirmed he needed help with dressing, washing, had problems in walking etc ,which all relates to GPs Factual Report.

However, there has been no specific mention of these daily living tasks by specialists over the last couple of years. Other than Chronic Fatigue psychologist confirming that husband receives support from wife and daughters with daily activities including personal care. During the consultation which was in December 2016, I had given more details about his day to day problems.

Can GP still confirm that husband is unable to carry out day to day activities based on early reports, which are facts, as husbands problems have not improved but have got worse.

GP is very supportive and is aware of problems but has no recent evidence other than CFS mentioned above.

All I can suggest is that you ask them.

I have just been informed that GP is away for a few days and will see to FR report when he returns, I am obviously pi---ssed off, but can't do anything, as he is really great in other ways and wrote a great supporting informative report for PIP.

How important is this FR report, it's well over due and husband has got assessment on Monday!!!!

It's impossible to say, if they answer "yes", "no", or "I don't know" which many GP's do, then it's not going to have much impact, if they intend to provide a detailed response then it could be important.

Hi
Husband has been really ill due to stress of F2F on Monday. Amongst other problems, he also has a heart condition.
I spoke to Atos customer Service and mentioned cardiologist letter requesting no F2F, which by the way was not on their system and I emailed it with details of husbands current F2F heart issues.

Received email back today stating amongst other things, following:

Some of the information which was sent in previously was old information therefore our Health Professionals were not able to complete a report based on that information however, I have advised on the letter from the cardiologist but as stated I am not sure this will be enough in order for a Paper Based Report to be completed.

Whilst the information is under review the appointment for the Home Consultation will automatically be cancelled and you will receive letter in the post with an update to advise if we have been able to complete a Paper Based Report or not. If we are not able to complete one and Mr A is not available for an assessment the claim maybe referred back to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) until he is available for an assessment.

If we are able to complete a Paper Based Report a letter will be sent out to advise of this also.

I would like a second opinion on this reply as I am so stressed and my head is all over the place.

I understand this as F2F cancelled for Monday and will see if Assessor can do paper based assessment??
The info may be out of date, but it proves husband did have problems and no one has stated that he has improved and can look after himself.
Also, how the hell is anyone other than husband know how his problems effect him on a daily basis? They have completely ignored extensive GP report.
