Again thank you for your speedy response.
Did you read the comment from R? and is it feasable?

It's not a route that we recommend, everybody who has needed a paper copy of the PIP1 has had problems getting it and have had to chase the DWP on multiple occasions, one even had their benefit stopped and had to involve their MP to get the form and to have the Decision overturned.

Following my 1st phone call I received a letter asking for more information. I telephoned and gave the information requested and I also completed the form and returned it, this was on 16th January. I also informed them during the telephone conversation that we would be going to Tenerife on 1st February and returning on 28th February.
My concern is that I have not yet received PIP2 form which I believe is the main details form. I am not sure how long I will have to complete the form once it arrives but if it doesn't arrive within the next few days I may not have enough time to complete it and get the relevant evidence documents together before I go.
I am also concerned that the form will arrive just after I leave for Tenerife which again will probably leave me with very little time in which to complete it after my return from Tenerife, in order to complete before any stipulated return date.
Do you have any advice on what my best course of action would be.

The PIP2 should have been with you in 7 days, 10 at the most, so if it is late then you need to contact the DWP.

Whilst you can get a extension to complete the PIP2 this may still be in the period when you are away or at best only offer a few days.

If there is time for you to return the completed form after you return (with an extension), then you could complete the form while you are away, if not then you will have to complete it before you go.

There is a possibility for the DWP to offer a longer extension period but this requires a Decision Maker and it could take a week until whether it is being allowed or not, so you would need to contact the DWP as soon as possible.
