From DLA to PIP ... was created by Bud
Hi all
My partner has recently been sent the PIP form, dated on his birthday  What a present eh? The date between them sending the form & when it's due back is 28 days, does this mean that we have until that date to just ring them up to say that he wants to claim PIP? Or is this for the entire process? Sorry, but I've only just had an op myself & my head's quite fuzzy ... Thanks in advance.

You have until the date on the letter to start a claim for PIP, once this is done he will be sent a PIP2 form to complete to explain his problems in.

The PIP Claim guide has details of the process including making the initial call. See
