PIP mobility wheelchair was created by black2cat
I push my husband in a manual wheelchair, as he is not able to push himself
and he can only walk less than 20 meters and has to stop to rest in that distance.

He also requires my help getting up and down from the chair and the chair is mostly used around the house and outside.

He also cannot walk the required distances reliably without help.

How would the PIP moving around activity apply to him and the points system?

PIP does not consider the use of a wheelchair only whether they can reliably stand (seems to be relevant from your post) and then move (walk).

You need to explain in detail the problems he has doing this and why.

The test is based on distance but be aware that is common for assessors to ask how long he can walk for, walking for a minute, even at a slow pace would likely put him over the 20m required for an Enhanced award. Consider any distances that he does walk in the house and whether he uses the stairs at all, although these are not considered part of the test there will be assumptions about his walking from his ability to climb the stairs.

I was asked about using the stairs, and I explained that I had to have my crutch in one hand and pull myself up with the bannister, but if I'm really bad that I go up on all 'fours', I got 12 points for walking, good luck.
