Help, what do I do.

Hello, I'm in the process of migrating from DLA to PIP, in my rush to send in the claim book I've forgotten to name or add my ni number on my extra evidence. The pages are just together in the envelope not even paperclipped, now I feel sick because its took my husband and I age's to do it. So is there anything I can do ?

I would suggest sending in a copy of the extra sheets, properly marked and attached to each other, along with a short letter explaining why you have done so. Better safe than sorry!

May I also suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to do this as it helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one topic - and I hope you will find it useful too

Hello, I know it was ages ago I posted to you so this an update.
I did what you said and sent in duplicate forms but as this was very near the xmas posting times I wasn't sure what would happen.
Well I've heard back from the DWP and I've migrated to PIP from DLA without attending a face to face interview.
I've scored high for both mobility and daily living needs, which means I've been awarded enhanced care for both. This is unbelievable. I'm overjoyed.
So thank you. But 1 more question please. It says its for an ongoing period. I take this to mean until I'm re-assesed. Will this be after 1 year, is everyone re-assed after 1 year.
