I've got stuck between a 'hard place' xmas & probably New Year in that my ESA forms were due in on 23 Dec (postal strike not helping!).. I did send in evidence along with the ESA50 ahead of time due to potential issues ... guess the question is that if enough evidence provided what is the probability of avoiding face to face ( I'm talking about them hitting me with a bomb) .. happened before & dated 1/1/14 which was quire simply auto generated!

Fretfully waiting....
It's impossible to say, if you have shown that you meet the ESA criteria for an award and have attached evidence in support of that, then it should be possible to avoid a face to face, but if they have any doubts about an award or the level of award then they most likely will want to see you.
You do have the option of asking for a home assessment if that would be easier but you will need your GP to write to Maximus to explain why your cannot attend at their offices.
