Hi. After mandatory reconsideration my score went from zero to six points mobility not changed with four points. Atos provided another report . I use a raised toilet seat, this was not taken into account so I scored zero for that question. Is this a mistake on their part? I will challenge this at tribunal. But am hoping that when they look at my claim again prior to tribunal they might give me the 2 points. It seems very few claimants are being scored correctly

You will need to show why you need the raised seat and what difficulties you would have if you did not have one, but if you can do this then you should score the extra two points.

Evening I am waitin on tribunal date, does the new legislation in the going out section mean that if i can only go to familiar places on my own specifically local shop doctors and my niece Due to severe anxiety . I can't use buses or trains or taxi. I have a car which I use to go to the above mentioned places. Anywhere else I need someone to come with me but only after much persuasion. Do I qualify for any points? In 2013 I was awarded points but they were taken off me in 2015 as they said new legislation meant i was no longer entitled to them thank you again

Hi Lorraine,

I suggest you have a read of the updated PIP guide to see whether you think you would now score the points you need.
