ESA interview

Help I'm terrified!
I have my interview next weds for ESA re-assessment. Last time I had one they got my answers completely wrong. I'm worried this will happen again. I don't come across well. Anxiety is one of my main problems. I laugh a lot when I'm anxious too. I'm rubbish at explaining myself verbally.

I have a physical problem which affects my balance too. Will they do things to test this? I;m worried they will make me feel ill and set me back with my physio.

I may appear to manage a situation mentally and physically at the time but it takes me days or weeks to recover The assessor wont see this grrrr!!

I suggest you have a look at our ESA guide, there is a section at the back that explains what to expect on the day. This will not be a 'medical' in any accepted sense of the word. The assessor might ask you to do some simple limb movements but I certainly would not expect any tests of your balance.

It is also worth re-reading your copy of the ESA form so that you remember the questions and your answers.
