Hi Everyone, Firstly I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and thank everyone for their contribution to the forum ....I have a question that is playing on my mind so much, that I cannot stop worrying about it...please can anyone help....here goes, I am 64 and received a letter from the Pension Service, as in the next couple of months I will reach the retirement age of 65.....I have some serious problems and I am on ESA (support group) and DLA (high mobility, middle rate care).....what will happen on my birthday to the benefits that I receive.....I'm so confused and my medication does not help with thinking clearly.....Thank you all so much Botlle.

Your ESA will cease on the day before you are entitled to your Pension, the DLA will be unaffected and will remain in payment, however, at some time you will be invited to claim PIP as a replacement for your DLA.
