Yet another assessment was created by patsy166
I had a face to face assessment with ATOS in August 2016. I was refused PIP. Applied for a Mandatory Reconsideration in August and since then the DWP have delayed making a decision by going back and forth to ATOS for another update. In December 2016 they finally decided to ask my G.P. For a detailed report but now I've received a letter from ATOS saying another assessment at my house will take place next week. They've not even waited for my doctors report. My M.P. Hasn't been much help and I wrote a letter of complaint to ATOS about the first assessor who blatantly lied in her report. I've lost my mobility car and blue badge. I'm struggling financially and having to pay almost full rent and council tax because I've lost my disability premium. I've almost been driven to suicide and it was only my family and G.P. That stopped me. I feel discriminated against and victimised by the DWP and ATOS.

Unfortunately, I think you have little choice but to attend.
ATOS need to be able to make a recommendation to the DWP in regard to how you meet the PIP criteria, it would seem that your complaint to them has resulted in the original assessment report being withdrawn and that is why a new interview has been scheduled.
You can ask for a home assessment, but you will need the support of your GP to write a letter explaining why you cannot attend at their premises. It might also help you to involve the assistance of your MP.
