Dear B+W
Again apologies as not tech savy and no idea whatwhere bookmark is:
Q's
Re 6 Dressing and Undressing not so long ago I was at talk on welfare and the person ref'd 'cases' and my understanding was on dressing and undressing (for my self I do not have an actual person to assist
1 that 1 needed an aid I guess some sort of 'contraption' (not sure what they are?) to constitute and aid (for PIP points)
Is that the case? or what they are?
2. that a bed if resting semi lying etc did not = aid thank you.
2 re walking which I think is Q12:
Re stds acceptable and I have seen this mentioned on forum Q+A's
Is Reliably 1.
and or repeatedly 2 right use of words in answering this question?
Or any other helpful suggestions on both.
I am aware of guides sometimes find it difficult to access and or concentrate on them
3 What method of 'safest' way of posting you suggest when it was ESA I recall getting some receipt: forget now part of conditions
Thank you again

There is a list of aids that might be considered in regard to Dressing and Undressing in the PIP Claim guide.
You would need to show that your using the bed to help you get dressed or undressed is required for you to be able to do this and that there were not suitable aids or methods that did not involve the bed that would allow you to do this activity. In other words you must show that you can only get dressed or undressed by using the bed.
Reliably is a collection word for a number of other things, it is these that you need to reference in your PIP2 not reliably.
• Safely – in a fashion that is unlikely to cause harm to themselves or to another person.
• To a necessary and appropriate standard – given the nature of the activity.
• Repeatedly – as often as is reasonably required.
• In a timely manner – in a reasonable time period.
We recommend, providing you can afford it, that you use a post with a tracked and signed for delivery, but at the very least, get a Certificate of Posting which is free.
