Supporting evidence pip/ESA was created by Littlebipolar
Hi I'm due for esa and pip reassessments at some point in the next couple of months . The thought of it made me so anxious and my anxiety has been threw the roof .after reading members comments on this site , in preparation of receiving the forms I went to see my doctor , how I got out my front door I don't know . I've been with my new doctor for around 8 months . He was absolutley amazing , asked questions about how my disabilities effected me day to day to my surprise he used wording from the esa and pip guidelines and thoroughly documented the answers ,He agreed that I do qualify for pip and theirs no way they can find me fit for work ( mental health and physical ) , he agreed to write me letters of support when the time comes , which is a relief and with no charge . My question is my doctor said he would support me in requesting a paper review , as he agreed due to my already fragile mental health a face to face could cause me to relapse further . How much weight would this carry ? As in would it be accepted ?

Their comments will be important but ultimately the decision is made on there being sufficient information for the Assessment Provider to make a recommendation to the DWP, so you need to complete your PIP2 in detail and provide evidence, in addition to what your GP might give you, as you can.
