Can anybody help or offer advise please.

In September 2012 I was awarded by appeal court, middle rate care and full mobility DLA for life.
In November 2016 I had to transfer to PIP the form took me ages even with my sons help to complete. The deadline was 30th November, it was posted on the 25th November so I assumed plenty of time. My son photo copied the form and all the medical evidence 39 pages extra. On Christmas eve (perfect timing from them) I receive the brown letter telling me my PIP claim had been rejected and my DLA would stop on the 3rd January 2017 the only reason given was they said they had not received further information on time. I knew they had not asked me for further information. On the 29th December I rang them for an explanation and was told they had not received the PIP claim form at all. After a small chat she agreed that it was a little unfair as they had not had the form to make a judgement. She said she would refer it to a case manager who would contact me by the 9th January. I did not receive any calls or letters from them. On the 12 January I phoned them again I was told they couldn't understand why I wasn't contacted by the 9th Jan. She put me on the priority list for a case manager to contact me and said that should be within 3 hours or certainly 24 hours. I had no contact from them again. I had only until the 19th of January to ask for a reconsideration. On the 16th January I wrote to complain about the service I was getting from them and also asking for a reply as well as claiming a reconsideration about my claim for PIP. I sent the letter 1st class and recorded delivery, it was signed as received on the 17th January, I still have not heard from them. Can anyone advise me on what to do now. thank you.

Do you have proof of delivery for the original PIP2?

From your post you have done everything that you need to I would involve your MP, this usually motivates the DWP to do something.

Thank you Gordon, I didn't expect such a quick response to my post.

Unfortunately I did not send my PIP2 recorded delivery, I just assumed a letter as big as it was would be delivered without any problem. I cannot understand why they didn't get in touch with me after my first 2 calls. I have copies of my original PIP2 plus copies of my further evidence.

Thank you for your quick response Sir
