Relevant wording any help please was created by khepburn74
Can anyone advise? I am deaf and physically disabled but I have tried my hardest to get all papers in order following the PIP step by step guide I cant write for long periods and had appointment with PIP trained advisor at CAB I took down the prepared notes on how this affects me in detail with the words SAFELY RELIABLY AND IN A TIMELY fashion as advise on Benefits and Work Guide and she said its not important and for the lengthy in-depth details on how it affects me she took maybe 4-5 lines and did not think it important to mention cannot use public transport. She said she is trained and I am stuck I don't think its enough and hard to get another form before submission date. What would you do? I made sure my notes had the word safely reliably and in a fair time throughout the typed notes and its been edited to what is a basic response! I'm worried Only have until February 3rd to submit Help

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

We have seen variable results from "trained" advisors recently.
It's your claim and only your profit or lose by the result, so if you are unhappy with content then you either need to ask the advisor to justify what they have written or not or consider taking over the return of the form yourself.
The issue of the claimant using Public Transport is confused, the DWP guidance makes reference to it but the legal definitions do not and we have seen Decision Makers refuse points for this reason.
At the very least, have a look through the PIP Claim guide to make sure you understand what you are being assessed against and whether the current answers show that you should score appropriate points.

Thinking of you Khepburn 74
I also need to have my forms back on Friday the 3rd February. Time is running out and I'm so sore and distressed with doing this. I must have imagined this was going to be easier to complete than DLA

You can always ask for an extension by calling the PIP Hotline.

Hi there - what I would like to add is - no disrepect but I dont think you saw a good adviser and the words reliably and repeatedly and in a timely fashion are very important I think as I have read the guidelines for assessors and they stress these are very important in scoring people points for completing a task or not. I really believe the BW guides are the best for us claimants to use to make our case. My advice would be try to give examples of each task where you have difficulties and show this means you cannot do this task reliably and repeatedly - put it in point form if you need to? Hope this helps and very best of luck x
