Pip decision was created by Chris
Been waiting on my PiP decision since I applied on September 2nd 2016.Rang yesterday and they said it was posted out over a week ago,which I haven't received yet.Can they tell you the decision over the phone or do I just have to wait on the dreaded letter.?I am in Northern Ireland by the way..

If a letter has been produced they should be able to tell you the result over the phone but it can depend sometimes on the person you are talking to.

If you also recieve Housing Benefit the Local authoritywill have been given the decision electroically. Check with them if there is going to be a change to your HB
We found out that wife had had her Hr DLA reduced to Standard care PIP about a week before we recieved decision from DWP.

No unfortunately I don't receive HB,a friend of mine got his decision by text message.I was thinking with me not getting a text message did it mean bad news..

I was getting text messages till award then was told I needed to phone once letter was on system which is two days after it was printed . I too thought missing text was bad news but got higher higher for ten years
