ATOS Website

Has anyone noticed on the ATOS Healthcare website that it said there was the facility to sit by the health professional and see their input to the questions. I definitely saw it but seems to have been removed. I was going to ask the question under FOI how many people had been granted this facility on request and % who were subsequently in agreement with their scores under PIP.

I;m not going mad ..... it WAS there.

I have just looked at ATOS and read this "You will be encouraged to discuss a range of topics that relate to your daily life. The Health Professional will make a record of your discussion during the consultation, which you will be able to view"..

I had to attend a PIP face to face recently and HP was one side of the desk and I was the other. I did not see any of what HP typed into the computer.

Yes, I saw that exact sentence when i looked at their website late last year before my assessment. Your right again.......... I cannot find it now. I was sure I book marked it, so will check. I totally forgot to ask to sit next to the assessor though!

Under the heading "Open Discussion"

Makes me laugh, how they state the above but then when you read also a little lower down; that if you want to audio record your assessment, you can apply to do so but they require that you leave them a carbon copy before leaving the assessment = they seem to think that there's a risk of them being digitally altered i.e. the contents.

If only they and their alleged "Health Professionals", afforded many past claimants with the same courtesy when documenting various aspects of assessment's!
