Thank you for your replies, they were super helpful.
Since I am not prepared to go to tribunal and if MRs rarely result in changes then I think I will save my limited energies for now.
In terms of strategy I am thinking that I will focus my efforts on the review in two years time. The DWP have an expectation that I will get worse and having gone through the process once I think I will be more able to score the points I need then.
One question though...there was a mistake in my report. The assessor thought I said 'a minute' rather than 'a metre' when I was asked how far I can walk on a bad day.
Is this worth correcting now even though I am not going ahead with the MR and if so what is the best way to go about it?
thx

There is no mechanism to correct errors in the assessment report other than an MR, you could write a letter, it needs to be very clear that you are not requesting an MR, pointing out the error and asking for it to be included in your file, but whether anybody will look at it in two years time is anybody's guess.

Hi Gordon,
Thank you for your reply and advice. I have recieved the assesment report. I was wondering if there was a way where I could send it to you to have a look at and advise me further.

I'm sorry but this is not a service that we can offer.
