Going to have to appeal ...... again!!

It feels like every single time my DLA was renewed I've had to fight - going first to appeal and then my next renewal they did agree my MR - I'm just so blinking tired and exhausted by it all. If I didn't need my blue badge I may just roll over - but I do need it & I'm fighting back tears today. I have emailed my council to see if I can renew the badge anyway but I imagine they will say 'no'- the worst bit is it's taken so long so far that my badge runs out in two weeks - on my birthday !!
So - I'm guessing that appeal it is but I'm really scared as I know that they are trying to take everything away - what if I lose my care component?!
For the last 3 years I've been on higher rate care and mobility and it's such a shock to drop down when everyone that knows me says I've got worse not better.
Anyway - I know there's not really a lot of advice but I just needed to let of steam as I'm so distraught.
Thanks for reading

You can apply directly to your LA for a Blue Badge
www.gov.uk/apply-blue-badge
The PIP MR & Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 that you will need to complete and instructions on how to complete the form, at this stage you do not have to go into detail about why you are appealing.
I would recommend that you go back through your PIP, the assessment report (if you do not have this then it will be sent as part of the appeal) and the PIP Claim guide to ensure that you have shown that you meet the criteria to score points.
Be aware some of the Descriptors have multiple elements and you need to meet all of them to score points.
Finally make sure you have made use of "reliably" and "on the majority of days" wherever appropriate.

I've just read the update on the mobility descriptor in relation to mobility and already feel a little better as a lot of my information is about the anxiety I have which means I cannot go out on my own - in addition to my physical issues; so I am feeling a little more positive.

I am wondering though whether it would be better in terms of outcome to do new reasons for each disputed descriptor?
I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem, at this stage all you are aiming for is to have the appeal accepted, once this happens and you receive the DWP's submission you can make your detailed submission to the Tribunal about why you should have an award.
