Tribunal Adjourned was created by Petra Bate
Due to my day time seizures being controlled by medication and only having nocturnal seizures but still needing emergency medication being administered by my husband I tried to be clever and make the change in circumstances move and they cancelled my benefits all together. I still need medication and my memory is affected by this. At the tribunal, the judge acknowledged this and was willing to adjourn the case to get more evidence and reports from my neurologist and to get hospital reports of when I have been admitted into hospital on an emergency basis during the past 4 years of when seizures have been through stress and anxiety problems.
I have nothing to lose, but do you think I have points to put my case to the court that I need help with mobility and supervision.

PIP is not awarded for your conditions but the effects that your condition(s) has on your ability to complete each of the PIP activities. The fact that you have been hospitalised is important but will not in itself result in an award.
