Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Our PIP guide explains the claim process, including the questions you should expect to be asked in the initial phonecall.

I've just had a thought about that phone call we have to do just to request the PIP application forms and the automated voice at the beginning of that call says that 'all calls will be recorded for training purposes' so my thought is this. If this is the case, then is it possible to get a copy of the recording at all because I was having one of my more 'normal' days that day that I have the majority of the time and BOY would that prove that I do have cognitive impairment!

Also had to stand my phone on my bookchair as I can't hold it to my ear for too long as it causes more pain in my shoulders and the chap at the other end was aware of this as I had to ask him if he could still hear me ok now the phone was on speaker and sitting on my bookchair..

Hope your phone call goes ok George, but be warned, it takes about 45 minutes, (or mine did, but in fairness the chap had to repeat several things more than once for me), for them to glean all the information they require just to send you out the forms. And that's 45 minutes after you've been in the queue for an operative to become available. Think the total time showing on our phone for that call was 58 minutes in total.

All the best George.
