will I've been this morning had my assessment for the change over, I can only say that the lady I saw was very nice and pleasant and she assured me she was a nurse of many years not just an office worker, that was a plus/ It was very busy people in and out all the time, according to my husband whilst I was in the assessment, It took about an hour., so fingers crossed and I will [pst again when letter received, she told me that the answers are coming much quicker than of late so maybe under 4 weeks.

Hope you've been successful with your decision when it arrives Jean. My decision letter arrived VERY quickly after my assessment......13 days to be precise lol I'd been awarded enhanced rate for daily living but only standard rate for mobility, so farewell dear car.

I took my husband into the assessment with me, while it sounds as though your hubby stayed in the waiting area, but hey.....probably won't make any difference to your outcome coz in my HP report, (I got a copy and suggest you might want to do the same JUST incase it all goes pear shaped), there was no mention of my husband being WITH me albeit he was sitting right beside me the whole time and the HP didn't even put my husband's name and relationship to me in the 2 boxes provided so the Decision Maker would have been unaware that I DID have somebody with me!
