Hello everyone
I am going through a relationship breakdown and need some advice.
I am currently getting ESA(IR) for myself and my partner and I am in the support group. I am trying to work out my finances so I know what I can afford when I come to finding a rental property etc.
I have used an online benefits calculator to find out how much I am likely to get on my own. I am getting conflicting answers which are vastly different and I don't want to get it wrong. One of them said I would get £125.05 per week and the other said it would be £186.90. Can anyone please tell me which one is right.

I'm afraid we cannot give individual financial advice. What you would be paid will depend on your circumstances and it is not advisable to discuss your financial affairs on a public forum.

Try and get face to face advice, do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.
The difference between the two calculation may be the Severe Disability Premium if you have a claim for DLA or PIP.

Yes I do get PIP.
Standard rate Daily Living and Enhanced rate Mobility. Doesn't this mean I could get the higher rate?

The Premium requires you to living alone which is why it may now be showing on at least one of the calculations.
But you still need to get face to face advice, a trained advisor can go all of your options with you while you are with them.
