Thank you for your reply.
Sorry I didn't realise all the posts had to be kept together.
The Atos assessor gave a account of the physical examination that was just not true. I did complain to Atos and my MP but got nowhere.
Even my GP could not understand why she did this.
I have heard that you shouldn't criticize the HP report, but I am going to find it very hard when the account was so inaccurate. I am so worried that they won't believe me and believe the assessor instead.

The tribunal wil want to hear your own account of your difficulties.

Good afternoon
I have my PIP tribunal coming up on the 12th April. I haven't got a representative, so I wondered if it is too late to do so and how I find one if it isn't too late?
I live in Colchester Essex.
In a way I would at least like to talk things through with someone just to make sure I am doing the right thing.
I feel I have a good case, so does my family, but I must admit I'm getting 'cold feet' as I have the lower care amount and I don't want to lose it as it helps me so much.
Any advise welcome.
Thank you

Hi Pamela,

It is certainly not too late to find a representative from the tribunal's point of view. However, you might not be able to find anyone who can actually do so.

Try an internet search for 'welfare advice' and your postcode/town/area. You could also try any organisations or associations that deal with your condition (RNIB for visual impairment, MIND for mental health for example).

Please don't despair if you do have to represent yourself. This will be nothing like a criminal court and we have many members who have represented themselves successfully.

Thank you for your kind response.
Is it true that the tribunal will inform you if you are about to lose the award you have been given, giving you that opportunity to withdraw?
Thank you again for your help.
