Hi

After 8 months of waiting I finally have my face to face assessment for Universal Credit sickness component at the end of February.

I am currently reading your guide and it says that information is shared between some of the agencies and so ESA would be aware of PIP claims and vice versa. Given that I am on full rate mobility and care would it be safe to assume that the assessor will know this? I did send them the evidence I used in my PIP appeal as there is a lot of cross over is it necessary to get more evidence specific to the criteria for UC?

I'm addition what type of questions will they ask?

Thanks

Mark

Although there are areas of crossover, the criteria can still be quite different so make sure that you have specifically shown that you meet the ESA Descriptors for the activities that you have problems with.

I would not assume that the assessor or DWP Decision Maker will have knowledge of your PIP claim or that even if they do that they will reference the information.

There's a section at the back of the ESA Claim guides that covers the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.
