No matter what level of DLA you had, it is not relevant to your PIP application.
The DWP are not interested in your medical, physical or mental hiistory. The assessment, whether at home or at a centre, is to determine what help you need to accomplish a range of activities, it is not a full medical examination.
The care component consists of ten catagories of activity each of which has specific descriptors covering from being able to complete the activity without assisstance, to not being able to complete the activity at all. The assessment is to determine which of these descriptors best fits your need. Each descriptor carries points which when added together determines the level of your award. This and this alone is what is important.
The mobility component consists of two catagories, each of which have a range of desciptors carring points to determine the level of your ability to carry out the set tasks. When added together this total is what determines your mobility award.
It is extremely important that you address these descriptors when appling for PIP as nothing else matters in determining your award
