ESA was created by Karen
Hi,
My first time on the board. I had a F2F assessment and scored 0 points surprisingly ! I then applied for mandatory reconsideration which was again rejected. After reading these forums I expected this but was still scared. I applied for the appeal tribunal and to be honest was on the verge of backing out as the thought terrified me. I would have gone ahead though as was the right thing to do. today I got a dreaded brown envelope, as I am on contributory ESA which was due to end in April I wasn't sure what to expect. ( I get £300 per month from my deceased husbands pension) .
Anyway sorry for waffling the letter was a reconsideration notice giving me 15 points for mobility and stating they didn't bother looking at any other issues as I had enough points for the support group.
I am having a cheeky glass of wine to celebrate as can't believe it. Although I have not asked for advice reading the forums helped greatly so thank you everybody. I didn't know this could happen. Do I need to cancel the appeal or is this done automatically.
I am over the money and can breath again until my DLA to PIP comes through xx

Many congratulations, revisions at the MR stage are rare so well done.
