Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
How to approach PIP review form was created by wolfchile
Hello
I am in a dilemma about what to do. I have jest received PIP review form. My conditions have got a lot worse since last assessment. For example just found out I have cataracts and need surgery (which is why my sight affected) my COPD is a lot worse, my mental health lot worse and I was hospitalised with stomach disorder. All these things have impacted on a ability to do things. However I am concerned that if I tick things have got worse this will triggers face to face assessment which could mean I loose everything due to issues with health professionals.
If I tick 'no change' then there is a chance I keep my same award and yet if I called for face to face there is a chance I will lose award due to them not having evidence. As for evidence that is hard as most hospitals don't send you copies of reports (even after asking do you want a copy?) Mental halth service no chance. They like to keep people in dark that is when they actually offer any service in first place
I don't know how to approach this. I feel ill.

Only you can decide on the approach to take, but it strikes me that more information on the form has to be a better approach than less.
We haven't been able to discern any pattern to what happens to members returning the AR1 form and in particular who is sent for an assessment. What I can say is that a face to face ups the ante quite significantly.
One approach would be to complete the AR1 to a reasonable level, but also prepare a second document with a more detailed explanation of your problems and references back to your last PIP2, which you could submit if an assessment is required.
