birth certificate was created by val
please could someone throw some light for me regard this matter. I sent my claim in for pip in December, I had my face to face beginning of January, I showed the woman my passport and birth certificate and bills for proof of id. then this morning I got a letter from pip saying could I send them my original pass port or birth certificate for proof of my date of birth so that they can proceed with my claim for pip?????? why do they need proof when theve already seen it ????? also does it mean ive got pip if they need it to proceed

The person you showed your documents to worked for either ATOS or Capita, not the DWP.
If they are asking for this information then I would expect that it means an award.

hen I rang this morning to ask for copy of my ftf they said they hadn't received it yet, so could they have still awarded me ?

OK I would chase this with the Assessment Provider first, this is unusual, the DWP should have received the report by now.
