Went for my tribunal was told I risk losing points if I go ahead has anyone had this happen to them

It's unusual but does regularly happen.

The Judge is saying that they do not believe that the evidence you have presented supports your current award let alone an increased one, you are being given the opportunity to withdraw the appeal.

You should take the warning seriously.
