I Will be asking a few more questions latter but to start with:-
I Have until the 3rd of March to ask them to look at it again.
1. I Have phoned and asked for a copy of the assessment report, also should I Write asking for the assessment report aswell [its in Wolverhampton] and does it need to be hand written or is typing oki]
2. should I Phone and write for a mandatory reconsideration now or leave it as late as possible so I Can digest what was fully on the face to face when it arrives, on the phone they said it could take 10 days?
Thanks, again I Do have more questions and will ask later, Thought I Would get things started straight away as regards appealing. Thank you again.

I would follow up the request for the report in writing, just to make sure it is not lost.
Wolverhampton is a mail delivery site for the UK mainland, your letter will then be sent to the correct DWP office for it to be processed.
Providing you are happy to wait then I would give as much time for the report to arrive as possible.
Again you can ring to make the MR request but follow it up in writing.

What exactly happens when I Ring up to say I want a mandatory reconsideration , Would I still have only until that date to write to them with added evidence and explaining which areas I Think my husband should have scored points [as per your PDF on appeals] or as soon as I Ring they look straight away at the form plus evidence I Had already sent ?
What Im trying to say is if I Ring and write saying I Would like a mandatory reconsideration, Do they then send anything back to us to fill in or does everything need to be sent to them before the 3rd March.
I Am considering sending evidence from my own Doctor to confirm that I care, support Etc. both my husband and son and Im just about at breaking point myself
Sorry for the questions but its been a tough few months and Im exhausted.

If you are not going to be able to include all of the information that you want to when you request the MR then you can tell them this when you request the MR and they should allow you up to four weeks from that date to send it in, although sooner would be better.
There's no form to fill in.
After the four weeks or at some time after you make the request (if you did not), a Decision Maker will look at all of the information again plus anything you have sent in as part of the MR to see if they can revise the Decision.
You'll then receive an MR Notice with the new Decision in the post.

Last question today, Im looking to gather evidence and letters from relatives, friends Etc. explaining for example how without my help Etc. my husbanc would not be able to take medication, eat etc without prompting would these letters be ok, also I was woundering if my husbands Doctor could do the same but is it possible for his Doctor to know the help that I Give certainly regards his medication and write a brief letter of support ? j [Which is wrong as in the face to face it says he can take medication fine on his own, but not true] I Suppose the doctor would remember the overdose taken so now I Administer medication, Any other ideas as to what to send would be great, Thank you again.

It would be worth talking to your GP to find out what they are willing to provide, responses can be quite wide, from nothing to "what do you need?".
There's a document in the PIP section labelled PIP GP Notes which has the PIP Descriptors listed, you could ask what information they would need from you to allow them to complete it.
