PIP for 3 years but ... was created by Bud
I understand that they'll be coming for me again in 2 years, is this correct could you please tell me?

If that's the case then I'm due for assessment at the end March, so when should I expect the dreaded brown?

Thanks

The majority of PIP claims are being reassessed a year in advance of the award ending, so if yours finishes in March 2018 then I would expect you to receive a new set of forms in March of this year.

You were right Gordon the brown came on 1 April, a right bunch of jokers they are

So just as we're awaiting my partners decision from DLA to PIP, I'll be staring my PIP claim.

Then we're expecting ESA, but we knew it was coming.

I don't know why they try to fool us that we get two or three years when in fact it is no such thing. How are they allowed to get away with this?

PHEW so glad you're back online!!! Thank God I'd already downloaded the latest stuff into my favourites & was able to consult them yesterday when looking at the PIP form.

Just to say that I rang WR to help with the form but they said they don't come out to just tick the boxes to the PIP form, but they'll come out if I have to fill out the other one. She did however go through it with me on the phone, I was ticking no change boxes, but she said not to put any further info in the boxes. Thanks to the info you gave I did, that's right isn't it? Also I filled in the extra page at the back too with a few extra ongoing tests ...

Hi J,

The DWP state that all fixed term PIP awards will be reviewed one year before the end date of the award to allow them good time to come to a decision.

Besides that, : PIP Regulation 11. makes it clear that any PIP award can be reviewed at any time for any reason if they wish !

Re-determination of ability to carry out activities

"11. Where it has been determined that C has limited ability or severely limited ability to carry out either or both daily living activities or mobility activities, the Secretary of State may, for any reason and at any time, determine afresh in accordance with regulation 4 whether C continues to have such limited ability or severely limited ability.
