Pip home visit was created by Lisa B
Don't know if anyone else has been through this but yesterday I had my home visit for my pip medical, a nurse came out with her laptop asked me loads of questions, looked at my legs then said that was it I would be hearing from pip in due course, I have chronic arthritis in my legs and spine and my mobility is very limited I also have chronic depression, I have no idea if I have qualified or not, but after much thinking have decided if the outcome is not what I expect I will appeal and fight the decision, as I just can't cope with everyday life without help from my carer, don't think they understand how even with pain medication there is never a time you are not in pain if just varies from day to day how painful.
I know there are probably people a lot worse off than me but we just have to fight on!!! To me why should you not get benefits you are entitled to that can help your life!!! I have come close so many times to not wanting to be here.
Try to stay positive I know it's hard xx.

PIP Decision are taking about 4-5 weeks at the moment, you should be able to request the assessment report at the end of the week by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.

Thx Gordon, I am going to fight to get what I'm entitled to if I have to, I have absolutely nothing to hide I can't do a lot of things unaided eg walking, getting in and out of bed, think the main thing that needs to be understood is there are a lot of people like myself that are in genuine need!
