ESA and occupational pension was created by Tina R
HI, my husband started claiming ESA in 2010 and was put in the work related contributions based group. After many interviews, finally in 2014 he was put in the support group of income related. My question is, he didnt get any worse with his illness, he should have always been in the support group as far as we are concerned. How can dr in 2014 change to support group when his condition hasnt worsened. This has become a problem now because he is on income related, he will lose his BT pension payments, whereas if he had been on contribution based support, he could keep it.

Can i go back in time and try to change this?

I'm afraid there is no opportunity to re-visit a Decision from 2014 unless the DWP admit to an error which would seem unlikely.

Guidance changes and it may be this that has caused the change of group.

One question for you, was your husband's ESA(CB) payments stopped as a result of the 365 day rule while he was in the WRAG?
