Thank you,

My walking has improved since I filled in my review form , so I need to tell them about this.

I'm now able to walk unaided more than 20m but less than 50...after that I need my stick and my partner to hold onto and support me.

With his help I can walk 200m ..on a rare good day further

I'm just not sure what points I should score?
Should it be 0, 4 , 8 ?

Just trying to clarify. You are awaiting your f2f assessmeent having sent back the PIP2 form. What level descriptor for mobility did you declare ? ie. what distance did you state that you could walk ?

Forgive me I completely misread your original post. so please ignore my previous posts.

You need to explain how far you can reliably walk on the majority of days.

If you can walk on the majority of days for 200m albeit with assistance from another person or using a stick, which your post suggests, then you are assessing yourself as scoring zero points, or at best 4 points if you could not repeat the distance.

I just put "it varies" and tried to explain how my walking was.
At the time I was really struggling around the house and having to use my stick but I'm a little better now and mostly don't need my stick indoors.

This was a difficult one for me to answer because I rarely leave the house due to anxiety.
So I'm not sure how far I can actually manage on the majority of days.

I explained this on the form and told them that most days I'm struggling to get around the house ( although I'm a little better now)
On the days I'm feeling stronger ..maybe 2-3 days a week..I feel I could walk further..but as I rarely actually leave the house , I can't say for definite.

I have managed about 200m but with my partner supporting me and stopping to rest , without his help I'd be on the floor as the effort from trying to walk increases my temperature and because I have MS this makes me unable to feel or move my legs properly...especIally when I get warm.
I need to stop and rest to cool down.

I'm not sure if that makes a difference..but I'm fully expect 0 points.
I've previously been awarded 4 points for prompting because I'm unable to leave the house without my partner.

I don't think it's fair that I'm classed as being able to walk when I'm being supported by another person because I can't walk any further on my own.

I'm sorry but I don't know what advice to offer. If you have been assessed for the Mobility component at a previous assessment and did not receive an award then I cannot see how one can now be made if you are saying that you mobility has improved.
