Hi, not sure where to look as only just joined this site, i am yet to get the dreaded brown letter, to say i am worried is an understatement, i am petrified at what might happen to be honest, any help i can get from people on here when i do get the letter will be greatly appreciated.

DLA claimants are being selected at random so you could be invited tomorrow or in two years time.
Have a look at the PIP Claim guide for details of the transfer process and the criteria against which you will be assessed. PIP has far stricter criteria than DLA and the assessment process is fundamentally different. See

In preparation read the excellent guides and take the self assessment test. Mark yourself harshly as that is what they will do. Don't look at it as a negative thing, it is your chance to get the help you need for the best life you can have

Hi I just sent my 40 page form back,the only advice I can give you is try and get as much information regarding your health issues as you can,I managed to get letters from GP,specialists,OT as I am also trying to move,because I have a friend who has also applied for pip and got turned down as he sent no info and they did not even contact his GP or specialists. Good luck
