I wish to appeal as I do not believe that the award I have been given is correct. Not all of the information that I have provided has been taken on board or used correctly and some of the information provided at the assessment has been misconstrued.

I would still include at least one example.

If you look at the PIP MR and Appeal Submissions guide in Members Only area it has examples you may be able to use.

Thank you - I will do but this is where I am getting confused. Whilst I have to complete the form and send it in, I don't have to provide all the info and reasons now but if I include only one example now am I not creating myself a problem? When do I supply the rest of the info? do I need to let them know I intend to provide more info later? I don't wish to be a pain with this but I just do not trust that they will throw it out or not accept my evidence later in the day?

I also need to get it straight in my head thats just how I operate :-/

If they are our rights, why do we have to fight for them?

This is the normal procedure for a Tribunal.

You submit a request for ab appeal on an SSCS1, once the appeal is accepted the DWP will be notified and they will prepare and send their submission in regard to the appeal. This contains all of the documents used and their reasons for their Decision. You will receive a copy of this.

You can then prepare and submit your own submission explaining why believe you should receive an award. By waiting you have the opportunity to see what the DWP have said and include any additional information that you believe you need in order to counter their arguments.

Your submission needs to be with the TS no later than seven days before the hearing.
