QUESTION ABOUT LENGTH OF PIP AWARD was created by Factfinder
Hello everyone

This is my first post, sorry if I do it wrong.

have just won my appeal and want to ask, is this normal:

my original pip was from Nov 2014 to July 2017. Had a f2f review in Oct last year, after which pip was withdrawn and mobility car taken back, in Nov last year.

I lost at Mand Recon, so appealed.Won the appeal thank goodness.

new award is from Nov 2016 to Oct 2019, with review in Oct 2018.

Sorry this is long, but is it normal to include the period of time when you lose your pip and are fighting it, within the new award timespan?

can't face contacting the powers that be to ask, they have worn me down so much.

thank you for any advice.

Hi Factfinder,

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

The Tribunal decision has, in effect, remade the original decision. Therefore it will date back to that decision - as will payments.

If you have further questions about your PIP claim, please reply to this message and we will do our best to help :)
