Pip Mandatory Reconsideration was created by Louise
Please help as I'm in a really confused mess right now. I'm going through my medical report for Pip Where I went from 9 points to 0 when my condition has deteriorated since 2014.
In the report she keeps homing in on fact I have flare ups every 2 weeks and during this time I'm bedridden for 3 days. Now if she had known about fibromyalgia she would know you are in pain daily and the flare ups are an exacerbation of your worst symptoms maginified and times x 50 pain level wise. She assumed I wasn't in pain the rest of the time. She has copied and pasted it in most boxes for descriptors.
How do I go about rectifying this and explaining it in my MR which my MP is getting involved with.
Has anybody had any success using their MP at MR stage??? Also they ignored the GP letter saying my condition had deteriorated which is why I needed a home visit but that's been totally ignored as has the fact I need help getting out the bath, preparing food, toiletting etc. Because she's misconstrued what I said she is saying I'm fine for the majority of the time.
I could scream I'm so frustrated with all of this. It's taken up my entire weekend and yesterday , photocopying and scrolling through it.
What is the best way to submit MR evidence and disagreements? Is it by pulling the report apart and what youndont agree with or is it by submitting a PIP Mandatory Reconsideration Letter Tool (from Advice Now).
Thank you

You will only receive an award by showing that you meet the criteria for one, I'm not saying to ignore the report, especially as it appears that one of the reasons you failed could be a misunderstanding of when you are affected by these flares, but you must show that you meet the criteria to score points, this means going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to make sure that you meet the Descriptors.
Have you made effective use of "reliably" and "on the majority of days" where applicable?
The first stage to challenging a Decision is for you to request a Mandatory Reconsideration, this needs to be done in writing to the DWP, within one month of the Decision, to the office that dealt with your claim, have a look at our PIP MR & Appeal guide for details of the process, the PIP area also has template letters that you can use to make the request with.

When you have a better idea of the issues with your claim, come back to the forum and we will do our best to help.
