Hello,

The PIP renewal form has arrived and before it arrived I downloaded a copy online thanks to you guys and filled out all the sections in great detail.

My GP has enclosed a letter saying I will need a home visit if an assessment is required.

So I have will be ticking and filling in everything as much as details as possible, attaching letters, meds list, reports etc. and scanning in and sending signed for.

Can anyone give me any other advice? Cheers.

Does the form you received from the DWP have barcodes on it? If it does then you must return this form or the DWP may reject it.

Send your form by a Tracked mail if you can afford to, if not then get a Certificate of Posting from your Post Office.

Thank you. Sorry, I meant I downloaded a sample form online and will move all of the details across to the form sent out.

I am definitely going to do that- thanks.

I am waiting for a letter from my CPN but won't have it before the end of the week. I have completed the form with a letter from my GP, medication print out, previous evidence, GP print out of notes etc. I really want to send off my form to get it off my mind but should I wait for his form?

Thanks.

Providing your waiting does compromise your having the form back with the DWP by the time it is required to be then I would wait, that way everything is in the one envelope, it gets scanned as one and is passed to the Assessment Provider as one.

Thank you. I have decided to send off the form today as my letter is going to take a while. Can I send it in as additional evidence once I receive it? To what address do I send it to?

It only says that my therapy has been suspended and I already included a letter and it doesn't affect PIP whether you're working or not.

If I had left it for ages the psychological distress would have been high.
