well after three weeks and lots of worry, the envelope arrived, I have been awarded enhanced in care and mobility. thank you for your help and advice. I\do I keep my car, the amount is about £3 a month less than the higher rate in both DLA we can live with that lol. and I have it until 2027.The points system is a little odd, I am partial sighted have Parkinson's plus arthritis of spine and neck, I'm in a wheelchair, but they gave me 0 for planning a journey on my own. I can get lost in a corridor lol x

Congratulations on the award.

Forgive me but I am a bit confused, the rates for PIP are exactly the same as DLA, so there should be no reduction in the amount you receive if the awards are the same.

The only reason would be that it is not for the full period.

The rates are definitely the same.

the first payment is usually an adjustment ammount, could this account for the discrepancy ?
