Hi all
Well started the journey all over again to ask dwp to look at my pip award I had to take them to tribunal last year as they said I got 0 Points and wasn't entitled to pip so I took them to tribunal but it took a year for me to get to tribunal and they only awarded me standard rate of care nothing else because it was a year ago and they couldn't take account so would have to start the process again I suppose I should have re started the process straight away after I won tribunal but I was exhausted after preparing my case and taking a year of worry and misery even though I had all evidence they sent form to my doctor and sent me for a face to face assessment my gp had already sent a letter to them saying that with all the conditions I. Have it would. Be reasonable to say this's how it would affect me because he doesn't live with me everyday to know what I struggle with but he would say that all the forms I filled out with evidence that he would. Expect me to be struggling guess what dwp said that wasn't enough so unless your go has seen you everyday doing these tasks or not it won't help your case so now am starting the process all over again so will post as things progress already started on a low as it took them 8 days to send papers I rang twice and asked where they were to be told it takes a lot longer as its second class post I said what 8 days and was told form had to be back by 16th march so will post as and when I get decision

I am a little confused that you say you are starting the process again, you appear to have an award so you cannot make a new claim for PIP, however, you can notify the DWP of a deterioration and ask to be reassessed.

Be aware that this would be a full reassessment of your claim, new PIP2 and almost certainly a face to face and they can reach any Decision that they feel is appropriate.
